When doing sections for Inventory, run those that are Unaccounted. To see this section, go to the 83% (whatever your percentage) and click on See Details. Then click on the Unaccounted For / See Details / Show All (in the top right side). Then print your missing book list so that you can search for them.
Then Start New, fill in the blank for your section (I typed Fic and the account came up as Fiction ), and start again.
Don’t Finalize until the last second of your dying (HA!) breath.

If you wish for certain items to be hidden in your catalog such as equipment, you will need to go to Back Office, then Library Policies, Circulation Types Tab, and then click Edit beside the circulation type that you want to hide (for example, school year equipment is one of my types) and then checkmark the box HIDDEN.
This will only hide items from “Guests” and “Patrons.”
Please be aware that if you use this option it is at your own risk!! Lifeguards are NOT ON DUTY!!

Open Add Patron in the Back Office.
Create a patron with any barcode number and name.
Select “Self- Checkout” next to Access Level.
Enter a User Name and password such as “Checkout”.
Click SAVE..
Each morning, go to the checkout station(s) and log in the “Checkout” user.
Tip: To hide the browser menu, task, and button bars, press F11 on the keyboard. (although, F11 also brings them back.)
Just FYI…..If you decide that you want to create a new post instead of just commenting, you can create your own “LOG IN” so that you can do that. You can even add your picture, etc.
I was talking to Merilyn and Darylynn this morning and they inspired me to find a way to share what we are individually discussing about Destiny. We are all using different parts of Destiny and learning different things so if we post our questions and suggestions here, more people can benefit from this knowledge and we may all learn how to use this system more effectively.
